A veteran competitor on the gruelling ASP WQS, Leonardo Neves enjoyed one of his most consistent seasons in ¡¦06 racking up four separate 5th place finishes to place 14th on the yearend ratings. Although one of the larger surfers on tour at 5¡¦11¡¨ and 185 pounds, the powerful natural footer exhibits tremendous speed in beachbreak conditions contorting his well built frame into one lip busting maneuver after another. With a full bag of small wave tricks and his penchant for charging the big stuff, Neves will only add to the already thick swarm of Brazilian rippers already on tour.
